Organising a funeral at Alne Wood Park

Alne Wood Park is open for burial of local residents as well as those from outside of the area, with no difference in price. We are also inclusive of all beliefs and religion or lack thereof. With no more than one burial per day, families can be assured they will not feel rushed on the day of the funeral.

There are two aspects to booking a burial/funeral at Alne Wood Park. Firstly it requires a plot location to be reserved, secondly for the actual burial to be arranged.

If a plot has been pre-purchased at the site, then only the burial will need to be booked.

Pricing and the forms to reserve a plot and book a burial can be found on our Pricing & Reservations page. We recommend visiting the site as soon as possible to ensure it suits your needs and to choose a plot location, please contact us via phone or email to arrange this.

A good funeral director will provide guidance and support but it is important to understand what choices you have in this regard. A guide to this is available on the Natural Death Centre website.

We are constantly developing our network of funeral directors, celebrants and funeral goods suppliers who we can confidently recommend to provide services to those using Alne Wood Park. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like information on any of these or indeed any other aspect of organising a funeral.

Many questions that you may have at this time about natural burial and the site itself are covered on our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Giving in Memory

You may wish to offer friends and family the opportunity to give to the Heart of England Forest in memory of your loved one – as well as, or in lieu of flowers. Whether you chose to plant a tree in their name, create an online tribute page, or hold a memorial collection on the day, we’re here to help. Find out more
